extreme frustration!! **UPDATE**

today is 12DPO. i tested negative at 10DPO and again this morning. went for my beta today. waited ALL DAY expecting to hear a negative.

then i find out it came back at 2. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

dr. b said to repeat the test tomorrow, could be a lab error, another chemical, or (most unlikely) a late implanter...

i had a chemical in march where my beta was 5. i had another chemical/ m/c in may where my beta went as high as 46. ive been doing intralipids for elevated NK cells and lovenox for a blood clotting polymorphism and a partial HLA-C match with DH... the idea that this could be another chemical despite all of the treatment both scares and angers me...

i know its unlikely that this will be anything but more frustration and disappointment, but if you could spare a couple of Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon my way, i would be really grateful Chat Icon .

UPDATE:
thanks everyone. it came back again at 2. dr. b thinks it just a lab artifact and that its just a negative cycle. the only reason he suspects chemical is because of my history Chat Icon . it would have been better to just get a negative yesterday like i was expecting...

anyway he thinks IVF is in my future..

Re: extreme frustration!!

Oh how annoying.

I am so sorry that this wasn;t it for you YET, but I really think you are on the right track with your recent progress in your posts.

My first IVF I had a beta of 5 and it was irritating to wait for it to go down and have to stay on my meds etc.

Do you think maybe IUI would increase your chances a little?

thanks!!
from what dr. b says IUI would increase the chance of conception about 8% over timed intercourse.
but if this does turn out to be a chemical i dont think the issue is conception as much as implantation or my own body fighting it (which we already know is happening) or something along those lines. at least i know it wasnt my lining this time, dr. b said it was perfect, at 10.3mm, at trigger time...

.

that was the first question i asked but dr. b said its really unlikely. also i did novarel this time, not ovidrel, and i did a smaller dose (5000iu) cause i had a lot of eggs so he didnt want all of them to release. usually ovidrel is out of my system by 6-7DPO and this one was a lower dose than that is.

Just want to throw this out there - since it seems like you have some immunity issues - not sure if you've heard of Dr. Kwak in Chicago but she is a Reproductive Immunologist and supposedly one of the best in the field. I heard you only have to fly out once to visit her and then she will work over the phone with you and your RE to develop a protocol.
