extra formula on hot days?
if you were going to be out and about with your LO on a hot day would you give them more formula than usual similar to how we'd drink more water?
or
is it not suppose to matter because you shouldn't/wouldnt be out with your LO on a hot day?

Re: extra formula on hot days?
DS actually drank LESS formula for his first 2 bottles today. I made sure I gave him some water this afternoon though. His night bottle he drank as usual though. Overall he had about 4-5 ounces less then normal (he's 9months and usually drinks 25-27 ounces a day)

talk to your ped, water is okay for most infants between bottles/nursing.

i've been giving her some water, which my doc says is now ok for her to have (she said it was ok at 6 months.) you just don't want them to fill up on it, but it's great to keep hydrated and if you need to hold them over til next bottle. also helps to keep things moving in their system!

this. my ped gave the ok before 3 months bc she said at this age their kidneys are fully functional and are able to handle it
