holy hotness-ideas for really hot days
DS is 10 months but gets really bored staying home all day especially since we are in such small quarters. I try to go out everyday! Its going to be 94 tomorrow and 98 on Thursday. I'd love some suggestions for activities to keep on days this hot! A pool sounds great but its too early in the season for that. He also gets antsy after a bit in the stroller.

We just came in from playing with the sprinkler, he loves it. Also water tables. It was so hot, he wanted to come in. Maybe go to atlantis marine world, or the mall or something.

We've:
-Made blanket tents & had an indoor picnic -brought the inflatable pool indoors & turned it upside down (also doubles as a blanket tent) -scavenger hunt/obstacle course

Do you have a backyard? For DS's first summer when he was 6/7 months old I used to just lay a blanket out in the backyard and bring out a bunch of toys. He also liked sitting in one of those little plastic pools.

We have use of a deck. I have a small blow up pool so we will definitely do that. I am also up for the sprinklers but a lot of the parks don't have shade
