ewcm and O timing

if you aren't using OPKs, how do you estimate when you O? is it the day after you stop having ewcm? the last day of ewcm? something different?

from anything Ive read, EWCM shows up just before you O, in some cases a few days, to help the little guys swim up and be ready for the egg when she arrives. That's why they say you're chances are better if you before you O

Sometimes its just luck though

i get it after i o, which is too late

i can tell by taking my temperature, but even that is not fool proof

I think that once it's gone, that means that you have O'd.

The only thing I went by was EWCM. As soon as it showed up, we BD every day. And then when it was gone, we'd BD one more time.

I counted the first day it was gone as 1DPO.

i generally get ewcm a day or two before i O. i always thought that it comes a day or two before bc the ewcm protects the swimmers, otherwise most spermm die bc the vagina is what doctors call "hostile" and the acidity kills the sperm..this is why we get ewcm before we O. However, I think just how much before u O u get it depends upon the woman.
