EWCM
I know this is usually a sign of ovulating if I am correct. Well, I got AF 5 days ago. It only lasts about 3 days but yesterday it seemed like I had EWCM. can I be ovulating that soon?? We BD anyway, but my doctor has usually told me to wait 10 days and then BD.

Anything is possible. You were smart for  . Did you have EWCM for one day only? My advice would be to contine to at least every other day, so you don't miss your day. good luck!!!

a typical lp can be 10 -16 days..u want at least 10 days...it is from the time u ovulate to ur next period..
so if u just had af 5 days ago and uthink u r ovulating ur lp would be crazy long
i am gonna say u just had reg cm..
did u use a opk or do u temp?

Do you know how long her cycles are? This a bit of a leap to say before knowing more information.
It is certainly possible to have EWCM at CD 5 ... and then not ovulate until days later. I've had cycles where I've had EWCM for 8 days!!
Anything's possible. If you see EWCM, BD! GOOD LUCK!

um..ok..i am sorry if i leaped..that was not my intention at all
i do not know how long her cycles are and i should have asked..i was just going by the fact if she got af 5 days ago..it lasted 3 days..now 2 days later she is ovulating that would be a long lp even if she had shorter cycles and say got af on cd21...
i was not aware people got EWCM for multiple days or got it and then ovulated days later..from what i thought u got it and ovulated soon after,like in the next few days..i am glad i know something new.
to the OP i was only trying to help,i did not say or mean you have a lp defect..to be honest ovulating on cd 5 is something i never heard of..thats why i said i thought it was just CM
but i am no expert,pointed out to me on this post so best way is to use a opk and see if you will be

Also not to be gross but semen and jellies/foams can mix with CM and make it's characteristics seem more "EW"....

No offense take ladies. I could be wrong myself and just took it as EWC< and maybe that's not what it even was. But to answer your question, my cycles are usually about 27-28 days and AF last about 3 days. We shall see. We BD anyway.
