this is actually the set I want to replace. All the dinner plates are chipping on the edges, and I cut my finger on one the other day! They are almost 9 yrs old though.

My set is a bit younger - purchased in late 2009 - so far, so good. I really like that they are light weight. I wish the mugs were a bit larger though. Would you consider Corelle again? They have lots of nice patterns. Good luck finding a new set!

These are mine as well. I have yet to use them (I bought them after my divorce and they are in storage until I move out into my own place again) but I can't wait! They're sooo nice in person too.

these are ours, they are by Pfaltzgraff
I LOVE the bowls (use them everyday) but hardly use the plates bc they are huge. the coffee cups are also gigantic and i only use them for soup.
We also have a very simple white everyday set from by fortunoff that I use more

I have Mikasa Swirl - we got 8 settings in white and 8 in black. They are our everyday an formal set (we didnt want two). I love it because all of our serveware is white so we can accessorize with practically anything we want.
They are sturdy as anything, I dropped a mug once and my kitchen tile chipped and the mug was fine!

We have Noritake Colorwave
It comes in a bunch of colors. We bought pieces on clearance, so our "set" is actually a bunch of different colored pieces all put together 
colors
It is a 10.5" plate
