Enough already!
Can the handful of anti trump posters who insist on posting over the top scare tactic posts all day just make one anti trump post and keep updating that.
I can not stand coming on here and seeing ten different threads about trumps every move and how he is destroying the country.
WE GET IT. I can't be the only one who is so over this nonsense.

I think it's an exaggeration to say if he farted sideways there would be outrage.

So much like Trump, people speaking their mind bothers you? This is a public site where people basically come to complain and discuss whatever is on their mind. Some people (myself included) find Trump repugnant and feel like one of the only ways we can fight back is to speak up.

I am glad for the intelligent discussion in a relatively anonymous forum, and I am glad to see other like minded people sharing their concerns. Granted, I am not a Trump fan but I think our concerns are valid.

There are so few threads on LIF anymore, it's very easy to avoid the topics you don't like. The political posts are the only ones that get any real activity. Whenever I post about any other topic, it gets almost no responses. Based on pure numbers, the majority of users here are interested in political posts.
If you want something done about it, convince the admins on here to create a Politics board. We've been trying for years. Until there is a politics board, this is where things have to get posted.

Same here.
And of course I'm not suggesting censorship or something. I just find it unfortunate that this is what FHF has become. Like others have said, I think it would be nice if there were a separate political forum so that one genre of post doesn't entirely dominate FHF. Sure I can skip the posts, but that's like 75% of FHF at this point

Granted some of the discourse has gotten mean and maybe action would be warranted. But for the most part it's been civil. What would you have them do?
Meanwhile, the most recent Trump related post hasn't been commented on in an hour so it's hardly a hot topic though I am sure that will change again soon.

OP states maybe have a long running thread on trump discussions. Believe me, I do not open obvious trump bashing posts. Some are deceiving. But it's literally not stop.
The people saying not to censor them are the same people who complain when people "overreact " about a storm or Zika or swine flu
It was annoying to them then. this is just too much for some here too

Thank you! Quite frankly, I really believe that is why so many posters are gone. I have been on this site for almost 10 years and its sad to see the state that it's in and really only within the last year. They need a separate forum or maybe a support group. The fear mongering is really over the top and it has taken over the whole board.

Before the election it felt like the same arguments were going around and around in circles and yes, it felt pointless. But all the posts lately are about a variety of topics. Personally I find it very informative and I appreciate reading different people's perspectives. Like others said, if you're not interested don't read it. I don't think others posts are being lost in the mix considering there are so few posts in a day compared to years past.

Listen. I get it's hot topics. It's important stuff. More to some than others. I don't discredit people's fears or concerns. Especially those in fear for their children. It has just been so much and other posters can't escape it.
its just frustrating. I took toxic complainers out of my life because it was wearing me down. Now one of my fav pastimes is doing the same. It's not fun anymore

Yes, after the election when it was a hot topic. Haven't posted since then because I got tired of you and others pretty much calling us horrible people. I still check on here, mainly parenting and celebrities. It's just painful on the family board.
I love the women's march thread, that's what the board is about. But the nonsense posts are annoying.
