EDITED with Update! Doctor Appointment Today
Update: I absolutely love my doctor! He said we basically had no shot at getting PG these last few months with my long cycles. The positive OPK I got last month meant nothing. My hormones are peaking and he said I'm Oing, but not at the right time. My eggs are too mature to implant because my cycle is so long.
So I walked out with 6 scripts:
- HSG
- Pelvic Sono
- CD 3 blood work
- Clomid - 50mg
- CD 27 blood work to check progesterone levels
- SA for DH
He wants a full picture, which we won't have for about 6 weeks (pelvic sono scheduled for Feb 25th). If DHs sperm is ok, then we can easily fix my cycle with some meds. If there's a problem with DHs sperm we'll take a different route. Either way he said the issue can easily be fixed and I WILL be PG this year!  Maybe it's that he said it 4 times, or that he says it with such confidence, but I truly believe he will make this happen for us. I'm just glad he's being so proactive with the testing.
So this cycle DH and I are taking a breather from TTC. It seems like our timing won't be right with the long cycle and the OPKs aren't helping us time it, so we'll just have fun and wait until we get the results from all the tests and know what our next steps are. Six weeks seems like forever, but I'm just glad to be taking a step in the right direction.

So I have my appointment later today with my OB/Gyn. I have my annual exam so I figured I'll bring up my concerns to him about my long cycles, mid-cycle bleeding this cycle, and family history of low sperm count on DHs side. Hopefully he gives me a script for DH to get a SA even though this is (only) our 6th cycle. My new insurance plan doesn't require you to be trying for 1 year before they cover infertility treatments so if we find something wrong with DHs sperm I think we'll go right to a RE.
Wish me luck ladies. I'm hoping to get some answers today.
