yup i'll wash it if theres a sink nearby otherwise wipe it w/ a napkin. I also NEVER actually let my lips touch the can. Im like that with water bottles too - I dunoo, Im weird lol

Gee, I never thought about it.  I guess I don't, but I always use a straw.
Dh always cleans the top of the can. Come to think of it, he also cleans the receiver when using a pay phone. (before cell phones, of course  )

Me too. Nothing like having a dirty lid fall into your canned good when you open them. For soda, I wipe with a tissue or napkin and I get in that crevice too!

Yes. Even if I pour it into a cup cause the little tab thingy goes right into the soda. I think I watch the news too much (saw s/t recently about stores storage rooms).
