Drs Scarantino or Cliff Goldstein
Merry Christmas,
I've been using Dr Bashian for the past few years and she's great and all but her wait times are crazy. I would be there for 4 hours at times (previous pregnancy); which I didn't mind but now with a almost 16 month old that's not going to work.
If you use or have used Drs Goldstein or Scarantino what are their offices like? Do they usually run on time? Do they do all/ most testing in office? Are they kid friendly (if I have to bring my DD with me for visits)?
Thanks in advance

I don't remember ever having a wait with Dr Goldstein. All his tests are done in house including the big sonos (if I remember it was Wednesdays for the 12 & 20w sonos). His nurses call right back and I felt like he runs very efficiently. Never had a complaint. Eta I see kids there all the time.

Also use Dr. Goldstein. I rarely waited long. But I think it depends on your appointment time. When I would go after work around 430ish I was taken right away. Few times I went during the day, around 11am, or later, around 6pm, I waited about 30min. But still not terrible. Dr. Goldstein is great and makes you feel comfortable. All testing is done in the office. Nurses call you back right away and are nice. Only thing is that Dr. Goldstein isn't always on call and may not be the one to deliver your baby. I ended up with a planned c-section (breach baby) so he was there.

Re: Drs Scarantino or Cliff Goldstein
I see Dr. Scarantino in the Westbury office. I've never had to bring my DD (I usually go during the day when I'm at work) but plenty of people bring their children. They do most testing in office; I believe they can do all in office (including the NT scan and Level II) but the group/company that the sono techs work for that do the specialzed sonos doesn't take my insurance. So I had the choice of either Madonna or LIJ. All my other sonos have been in office. As far as wait times I always book the first appointment time (or as close too it as I can get). I have not waited more than 20 minutes with this pregnancy. I waited longer a couple of times with my first pregnancy (~1hr) but that was when I took an appointment time in the middle of office hours or towards the end. HTH!

For the Dr Goldstein ladies if you were high risk did you have to go to LIJ too for monitoring? I know Dr Scarantino sends you out but how about Goldstein?
