switching Drs.- Dr Goldstein

So I decieded for various reasons to switch practices. I feel I will be more comfortable in the long run and better to get it done now when I'm 8 weeks.

I go MOnday to meet my new OB. My SIL used him with her last son and recommended him. I have seen his name on here, so just wanted to hear some input on him. Dr. Goldstein on Northern Blvd in Great Neck/Manhasset.

I don't have any experience with this practice.

But I do want to say good luck with the new doctor. I am sure you made the right decision by switching practices. I know I am much more comfortable now being away from them and feel as though I am in much better hands now!!

dr. goldstein is my OB and i LOOOOOVE him. he is very soft spoken and sweet. not an alarmist at all. the office is great. very efficient and they have an awesome new 3d sono. you'll love him!!

ETA - the dr. goldstein i see is Dr. Cliff Goldstein at 833 Northern in Great Neck....

Is it Benjamin Goldstein at 865 Northern Blvd? If so he is a part of the practice that I go to. He is not my actual Doctor, but I saw him a lot during my pregnancy and I really liked him. Very personable and very laid back. It is a practice so he might not deliver you, it will be the Doctor that is on call. But I ended up seeing almost all of them and liked them all.

If you mean Clifford Goldstein at 833 Northern Blvd. then that's the dr I see.

He's awesome!!! I actually just switched to him when I was 16 weeks along. I've only had one appt with him so far... and in that one appt I was soooo grateful I made the switch.

I wasn't 100% with the other dr from the first appt. And with Dr Goldstein I was from the first appt. He's very comfortable to talk to and very nice and has some personality.

Because I switched at 16 weeks he wanted to do a full sono and check everything out, including my cervix and all. They don't normally do a 16 week sono but since I was switching over to him he wanted to really check everything. I was happy with that because I felt safer.... like he was just being thorough.

I say if you feel you need to switch then DO IT!! Don't stick it out and don't wait any longer. I'm sooooo incredibly happy that I switched dr's. It was the best decision.

I also just switched to Dr. C. Goldstein! My original dr. no longer carried my insurance and she referred me to Goldstein. I have been to one appt so far and I really like him. He is fun and informative & helpful too! The interaction I have had with the office has been nothing but positive!!

He's just so popular these days . I would never refer anyone unless I was positively sure that I was comfortable with not only the doctor but the practice.

I'll let you know how he is come delivery time which should be any day now!
