Dr's Appt Update and Belly Pics...Kinda LONG!
Well, I had my 34 week appointment today. My litle boy turned again, this time head down, but will most likely turn back into a sideways position again, since every DAY he is in a different place. BUT, this is the first time he's head down so I'm hoping he'll stay.
Heartbeat was good. The doctor said if I go into labor before my c/s, I can choose to go along with it, or try VBAC if baby is in a good position. I told her about all my contractions, but I ended up not getting an internal today. The girl messed up last appt when she told me I would be getting the Strep B test today. I get that at the next appt, so she will also check my cervix then. As she was feeling for the baby's position, I had a contraction, and she felt it. She said it could be an irritable uterus, but let me tell you, once I hit 36 weeks, I am doing everything I can to go into labor so I can try for a VBAC!
As for the rib problem, it feels better since sleeping on the couch. She felt around, which hurt like HELL, and told me there is definatly a foot stuck up there, and that theres nothing they can do, especially if I want him to remain head down.My rib is NOT dislocated, but she said if it doesnt start feeling better in a few more days, then its most likely fractured. It hasnt been unbearable though since the other day, so I'll be okay. She gave me some exercises I can do to help stretch out the muscles in that area, which may help. She said to alternate ice and heat and take tylenol at night. So I'll try that!
And she said I can wait for the day before my c/s, if I make it that far, to go for pre-surg testing, so that means Feb 28 will be my last day of work. March 1 I go for testing and the 2nd is my c/s.
ETA: I weighed the same as at my last appt 2 weeks ago, making the total weight gain roughly 30lbs!

Wow! YOU LOOK GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are truly all belly...how did you stay so skinny every where else? I am sooooo jealous already and i am only in my 10th week!
Hope the little guy stays put and everything works out perfect

I hope the little guy stays head down for you! I actually went into labor 10 days before my EDD and I was able to VBAC. If you have any questions, just let me know. Good Luck, you look great!
