dr called...updated 8/15
So my dr called and left me a message saying that she wanted to go over one of my prenatal tests...that is was nothing urgent but to call her back unfortunately she was only in the office for another 15 minutes so now i have to wait until tomorrow to call her...i am super nervous and bummed...do make matters worse i have no idea what they tested for...i am only about 8 weeks and 5 days...any thoughts 
Update: i spoke to my dr this morning and it appears that i am a carrier for cystic fibrosis...got to go and pick up prescription for DH to be tested for it as well...if he is positive then i'll have to get an amino...really not what i was expecting...and unfortunately thats the only test and the HIV test that came back...can you feel my anxiety rise? Thanks for all your kind words ladies and I'll keep you updated.
UPDATE: I just spoke to the dr and my husband is not a carrier whoo hoo

I'm so sorry! This same thing happened to me just over a month ago and was related to my triple screen test. Try not to drive yourself crazy.

It could be something very minor. My first round of tests came back that I am no longer protected against Germen Measels and have to be vaccinated when I deliver.

thanks...i do hope it is something minor
I had the same thing happen. Most of the early testing is for STD's or vaccinations. I'm sure if you had an STD she wouldn't say nothing serious so it is probably one of your vaccines has expired. I had the same thing happen except it was regular measles not german

At 8 weeks I'll bet it's something minor, like you could be anemic. Try to relax and not worry (easier said than done I know)

Don't worry. At that stage it's probably nothing. Do you know your blood type? Maybe it's an Rh issue or something. Try to relax!

Definately sounds minor- my doc will call after hours if its something serious(They thought I had a bladder infection and called me at home at 8pm!)
Most likely it is either your vaccination has expired or you are slightly anemic which is really common in early pregnancy.

I got the same call around the same time. It was just that I had elevated thyroid levels and they wanted me to see an endo.

This is exactly what I was going to say. When they called me about my blood work I was anemic.

I had that happen too around that time....Turns out my urine test came back saying I had a UTI..... no biggie. I got prescription for antibiotics and I was all set....well, except for the massive yeast infection I got after 
It could be something like this, or maybe your iron is a little low which is common in pregnancy. I wouldn't worry too much. If it was a true major emergency they woudl get in touch with you right away!

best of luck to you. My hubby is a CF carrier too I am not so just remeber that as long as daddy isn't it is not a problem both have to be a carrier for the child to be at risk also the child could be a carrier but not have the illness but hang in there I wish you the best

Try not to worry too much! I'm a carrier for 2 genetic disorders (CF and SMA) and DH was negative for both. Good luck!

I too am a carrier...DH was tested and he is not. The odds that your DH is also a carrier are pretty low, and if he is there is a 25% chance that your DC will have cf
