If we did a very small wedding, I was going to find out about the Blue chapel in Keating Hall. Have any of you ever been in there? It is a little known gem - I used to like to sit in there and think all of my deep thoughts.
I'd never been there, but I had a very religous friend, who loved it htere.
I just looekd at the interactive map on-line & I barely remember some of these buildings! Larkin hall? And I can't remember exactly where Spellman was.
Last time I was there was in Spring 2003 for Jubillee!

The Villages were these prefab trailers they put up as temporary housing and I think they used them as dorms for 3 or 4 years, then I think they were temporary offices. I think they are gone now (and might have been by the time you were there.)
Oh! I had heard about the trailers! I worked on the yearbook staff & loved looking at the pictures in thr old yearbooks.
Spellman is a priest dorm, I guess that's why I don't remember much about it!

I think Larkin was one of those buildings that didn't have many classes in it - I think I was in it once Spellman is between Keating and the parking lots. There is/was another dorm called Sesquicentennial next to Spellman too, but I think they renamed that too. I heard recently that Jesuits were living in Spellman now (which is kind of hilarious since it was all women when I lived there.)

I don't think Spellman was prists when I was there. Lolya & FAber were preist hosuing. They are next to each other. Now it says Faber is offices, so I gues sthey moived the preists to Spellman. I thin I knew that--it mayy have beenin transiton when i left. I don't know what went on in Spellman when I was there. Offices, maybe.
Larkin is bio labs! I was a lit major. . .so no wonder I didn't know.
Sesqui became Tierney Hall at my graduation, b/c one of our classmates died freshman year & they named it after him.

Re: DPLI
Posted by nrthshgrl eta. Do we need a separate Alumni board?
I think maybe we do
I am so looking at my yearbook tonight, the Chuck stories are familiar, but I don't have a mental photo. I may have to consult with my former roommate, who I owe a call to anyway.
One of my favorites while living in Queens was some dude in B or C house who played "I am Iron Man..." every single night at 11:00 sharp.

I used to show the movies at 8PM on thursday nights and if I wasn't out of there by 10, I had to wait a good 15 minutes before I could walk home.

Wow, I don't even rember the Bridge. . .I do remember when Alumni opened. I think it is a furniture store now. Clarkes is a cell phone store.
