Does your 2 year old drink from a sippy cup or a regular cup?
Riley still drinks from a sippy cup and the dentist we took her to said to stop that its just like a bottle for them

yep, I heard this too. We don't use sippy anymore, but we use straw cup for this reason.
I think straw is okay.

yep, I heard this too. We don't use sippy anymore, but we use straw cup for this reason.
I think straw is okay.
Ok going to switch to a straw again but I feel like they all leak

Ok going to switch to a straw again but I feel like they all leak
we don't have too big a problem with playtex, just have to sort of open it and shake whats not suctioned in the straw at first. No leaks after he starts drinking.

Straw cup for when we are on the go, but mostly she drinks out of a regular cup now (thanks mostly to daycare).

We dropped her last bottle at 2 so it was better than that. mostly she'll drink from open cups but I admit I'm lazy and will hand her a sippy at night. It makes it easier for all of us.

We mostly use straw sippy cups to help with spilage.

We use the straw sippy at home but I think at daycare he still uses a regular sippy (my daycare provider didn't like the straw oes b/c she said when DS would be done, he would wanter around smashing the straw on things so liquid would come out. He actually never does this at home but I think she just likes the others better.
I had wanted to get him on a regular cup this summer - I figured that it would be a good time b/c we could give him cups outside and if he spilled, no big deal, but it just hasn't happened. Our ped would like to see him on regular cups.

DS uses a straw cup and a playtex tumbler cup. He likes to drink out of a regular cup but he spills-alot.

Straw sippy, would love to use a regular cup but eventually prefers to pour it all over herself rather than drink it. Same thing with a water bottle.

We don't use the sippy cups because the dentist doesn't recommend it. The sipping action may lead to speech problems and tooth decay.
If you're looking for a good straw cup, get the Thermos brand. They don't leak!
I love 'em so much that I order 4 of them. Two insulated ones (come sin a bunch of designs) and 2 regular Thermos Foogo.

A sippy with a straw. Our speech teacher said that the sippys can do more harm than good with speech. So after that we went to a straw. I give him a plastic real cup with water only.
