Does BBT work for everyone?

Does BBT work for everyone?
Does everyone here notice a slight dip before O and then a big rise?
If someone doesn't see temp changes, could their body just be less dramatic or something... or does it mean they aren't ovulating?

Only a very small percentage of ladies get a dip and then a rise. Most people simply get the rise. My rise in temp isn't immediate, it usually goes up slowly over couple of days, but then stays up for my entire LP. It is my understanding that if you are ovulating, then yes, you will see a definite temperature shift. At least this is what I learned from TCOYF!
