Does Anyone Else NEVER Want To Go Back On BCP EVER AGAIN!?!?!?!
I've been all screwy since coming off BCP and I'm hearing a lot of other ladies on here that seem to be having the same or similar issues as me.
After I get PG and have a baby I'm NEVER EVER going back on BCP AGAIN EVER!
I hate this. I hate my cycle being wacky and never knowing when to expect O or AF.
Who's with me?!?!?!?!?!

I haven't been on BCP in 4 years. I will NEVER EVER EVER go back on them. I know too much about them now. They are just not for me. I think they mask too many problems that can be occurring in a woman's body. I want to know what it going on with myself and not have chemicals messing with my system to confuse the natural hormones. I cold go on a tangent, but I won't

My older sister was never on BCP and was able to plan all 5 of her pregnancies. She was never caught off guard (except her first one since she was 18).
She and I talk about it all the time, all the problems I've been having trying to get PG again. We're going into our 7th cycle now.

ME! I took it for 9 months & then got pregnant with DD. It never caused any cycles issues for me because I got pregnant on it so I never went through the experience of coming off the pill. What turned me off is that I realized after DD was born how much it changed about my body. It changed lubrication, destroyed my sex drive, made my migranes worse, caused stomach issues & so on. So not worth it to me

HA HA!! I thought about this yesterday! I went through my drawer looking for a nail file and saw a few unopened packs of Yaz. I thought to myself "I hate you, never again!"
I don't know if I'll ever get on any sort of BC. What for!!??? I can't get pregnant when I'm trying to!!!!!

My cycles were regulated when I came off of BCP...I was on them for almost 7 years, so I didnt know what to expect. I still felt much better when I came off of them, even though I never had any complications or issues with them.

ME! I was on them for 5 years. I got on them as soon as I could after having my son.
For me, I feel as if they masked all the problems I was having internally. I always got my period on time and with short cycles while on BCP but when I got off. I would go months without AF. Turns out I had PCOS.
I am never going back to BCP.

this is why i never have been on it in the first place... i didnt want my body to get messed up... i always just used other protection and it worked!! i am almost 30 now.

I will DEFINITELY go back on BCP after i have a baby.
First off, we only want one child. Secondly, i have HORRIBLE HORRIBLE periods and being on BCP limits my cramps etc.
Third, my skin never looked so good as when i was on BCP

I agree with just about everyone on here. No more BCP - Before I ever took them I had no issues with my cycles, and all they have done is mess with my body! Totally unnatural!

I really don't want to--but I've been told that I need to be on them when not PG or TTC in order to keep my PCOS under control.

Same here, I have horrible periods off of BC - very long, very heavy and very painful. I was on the Nuva Ring, it a low hormone continuous dosage, so there are no hormone peaks and valleys - which for me meant no evil mood swings. I had had terrible experincees with BCP in college and swore it off, until my Dr. convinced me to try the Nuva Ring. I will DEFINITELY go back after the baby.
Also, my cycles were regular after coming off of the ring, and I got PG my 2nd cycle, so it didn't seem to create any issues for me.

Nope! Never again!!!! I've been off since May of 2007 and since November of 2007, my cycle has gotten worse and worse. I actually went to see my GYN about it and tomorrow I get my pelvic sono and blood results. I'm VERY anxious
