I believe I am a good person. I always look for the best in people, I am a good wife, a good friend, I am a nurse and am always helping people. I feel that when i comes down to it, I am pretty good... I believe good is how you are to other people around you.

Yes, I am a good person. Flawed but a good person. I criticize myself so much but when I step back and take a look at myself, I like and respect the person that I see. There are people I know who are not good people. I often say that if I were one of them I would not be able to face myself in the mirror.

I think I am a good person, for the most part. I always try to see other peoples point of view and I don't like kneejerk reactions. I like to think things through before I react. Sometimes I have bad thoughts and I can probably be quick and nasty with my family...but I am a terrible liar so I try to tell the truth a lot. I always remember what it felt like to be left out of something from when I was a kid, so I try not to leave anybody out of plans or things like that...

So yes, for the most part.

I was a good person yesterday. I went to B,B&B to buy 1 thing but had a handful of the 20% off coupons. the woman in front of me on line had none and was buying over $100 worth of stuff. so I gave her 4 of my coupons

But in all seriousness, I do think that I am a good person. I am a loving and caring wife and a good friend. I am always supportive of those whom I love.

i feel i'm a good person. i try my best to accomodate everyone and most of the time i actually find myself giving up what i want to make others happy. i guess that's not good for me but good for others

i think i'm a good person. sometimes being a good person has a down fall...people could take advantage of you. i think that's happening with a friend

A good person? No - not really.

I am not a she-devil. I am not a BAD person. But I am not a truly good person either.

I consider myself adequate.

I am kind and I try to be considerate. I don't steal, I tell mostly harmless 'white' lies when I lie at all. I don't cheat. I have a deep conscious that prohibits me from doing anything.

But the fact is that I am a selfish person. I give gifts because I like to see the response that people have. I feed off of their excitement. I give time and money to charity becasue I like to feel like I am doing something good. I help people because it makes ME feel good. It always comes back to me in one way or another. Even with my kids. I would give my LIFE for them... because the alternative is unfathomable.

I am also pretty judgemental. I try not to be, but I can make some pretty snap judgements based on the tone of someone's voice or other things that are relatively inconsequential to the person as a whole. I try to see the best in people - but sometimes it is difficult and I say awful things about people because of my own frustrations.

The reason I don't consider myself BAD is because even though I might inadvertantly injure people sometimes by word or deed - I never mean to. I get no enjoyment from the pain, discomfort or unhappiness of others. I won't 'call someone out' just for the sake of watching them squirm. I don't try to make myself seem superior just to satisfy my own inadequate ego. I don't like to boast or brag about myself (although I love to boast about the people I love.)

I am normal. A mediocre human being with normal human flaws - but I do have a pretty giant sized heart.. because I love very deeply.

I don't lie.

but sometimes in telling the truth I could be offensive or hurt someone.

what does that make me...good or bad?

I think if I was only ALL good, I'd be boring. same with only ALL bad.

my dh once told me, a very long time ago...that I was the most "everything" he'd ever met.

the sweetest, smartest, dumbest, bitchiest....you get the idea.

I guess I just know myself, and enjoy myself...and like to think that whether you meet the good me OR the bad me, you deserve the side you get.

I do the right thing. I'm honest. I'm helpful.

I also have a very dark sense of humor, am sarcastic & snarky. I say some seriously mean & appalling things if I don't like someone.

Oh, wait, you don't have any evidence, so I'm off the hook....

I think I'm middle of the road on Santa's Good List. I'm not getting any coal, but I'm not getting any diamonds. I try to be good, I help out a lot of people, I try to do what I think is right.

Everyone has their ups and downs (There are some pretty horrific stories about things that Mother Theresa and Ghandi have done in their lives ), but I believe I have a lot more ups than downs.

i also know i'm b!tchy and impatient, and the last thing i do is try to please people. But i think anyone who knows me... who really knows me, knows that i have a huge heart and just want to help people and make their lives easier and better. I try to give back whenever possible, and do the little, kind things that make people smile. I dont think that doing something good makes someone an inately good person, or that doing something bad makes them a bad person, but i think the character... my character... always shines through in any action. And, sometime i think the b!tchiness is a good balance- it lets people know that i'm doing good things because i *want* to, not b/c i feel like i *have* to.

I try to be but I guess it's all about perception. I try to do the best I can for people but I tend to get wrapped up in what's going on in my own life. I try to be generous and considerate but again, it depends on the perception of some.

i think i am basically a good person. i know that i would never break the law (speeding doesn't count ) and i tend to think of things in terms of moral/immoral. i always want to do the right thing even if it makes me unhappy. i also know that when my DH does something that *i* perceive as immoral, i try to get him to see the other POV, even though it doesn't usually work.

I'll go the opposite and say that I don't think I'm a BAD person. I don't think I'm bad, or evil, or vicious in any way. Can I be at times? Sure, but am I ALL the time? No.

Being a good person is subjective. It depends on who's doing the judging. All in all, I think I'm a good person, based on my standards.

I am going to sound conceited but sometimes I think I am too good of a person. I get taken advantage of a lot and I dont even think people realize it.

I think I am a better person when it comes to family though. I need to focus more on my friendships. I am the kind of person that would take the shirt off my back. Sometimes being mistaken for being gullible. Which in the end is fine, because at least I feel good that I tried to do the right thing.

I am moody. I can be bitchy. I go from 0-60 in a heartbeat. My temper stinks when I am mad. I am an irish hot-head. But in the grand scheme of things, I try to live my life the way my mom and grandmother had always taught me. I try to be a good person but sometimes the way of the world gets in the way. Overall though, I am proud of the person that I try to be.

I definitely try to be a good person. Usually, my intentions are good. However, when you hurt someone I care about, I am not nice. Sometimes I am moody and sometimes I'll bend over backwards to help someone. In the end, I think the fact that my heart is in the right place makes me a good person.

In general I do think I am a good person. My mom often makes me feel like nothing I do is even enough so I find myself often questioning if I am a good person but deep down I know I really try. I try to be good to her and the rest of my family. Sometimes I don't take enough time for myself and it catches up with me.
I'm not flawless though. I have made mistakes and hurt people at times but I can't say those things were ever intentional. My inner person is not mean or hurtful though. I think with age and experience comes a little less self -centeredness that sometimes allows us to be an even better person.
