Do you think its insane to spend
$200-$300 on a 30th Birthday cake???
For 30 people, two-tiered fondant present cake with a sugar bow and two-tones...blue and silver with detail...

How many cake servings? What about the cake makes it so expensive?
If it worked out to be $2ish pp I would probably really consider it if it was something that knock the socks off the guest of honor and it was in the budget.

I think I would spend no more than $150. I would also say the cake is for 20 people not for 30.
