Re: Do you think it is appropriate to...
I feel bad. I am gross.
When I was 9 months pregnant I didn't even fit into my flip flops because my feet were so swollen. I would wear my husbands sneakers when I needed to go out. But one day my feet were itchy and hot and I couldn't bear wearing the sneakers ... so I drove to the bank barefoot - I figured I was only going to the ATM, what was the harm? And I had a craving for a Slurpee... so I went into 7-11 with no shoes. I really didn't think too much of it. Now I feel pretty shamed.
I actually walk around barefoot in my house and yard all the time though. I think that is a bit different though.

i worked for a podiatrist when i was in HS and let me just tell you: NEVER, EVER do I go barefoot outside my house-- EVER!!! The things I have seen- I don't even let my feet touch the floor in a dressing room, a shoe store, NOTHING-- I feel weird even on a BEACH after the things I have seen on people's feet and what different types of fungus look like
ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
