Do you take your keys with you....
... when you don't need them??
DH drove me to work today, and he is bent out of shape that I did not take my house or car keys with me.
I didn't drive my car and I knew HE had his to the house keys, so why would I take mine? 
Does anyone take their keys with them even if they aren't needed??

even when my DH and I drive to the train station together in one car I take the house and car keys. We never know if the other one might have to work late or has subway problems and misses the LIRR train.
I got stuck once without my keys...never again!!

I ALWAYS have my keys on me. Even when they are not needed. FH doesn't understand why i would need to have them on me 24/7
We went to the DR last year for a few days and I brought them with me there lol he was ******, b/c why the hell would I need my keys down in the DR. I guess its just a habit

Yes. I have this sick phobia that I will NEED them even if my car isn't around.
I don't know if you ever saw "Dawn of the Dead 2004" but I keep thinking if something bizzaro happened like that, I'll need my keys handy

Nope, as long as Kevin has his keys then I don't need mine. I end up with his keys in my purse when we get where we're going anyway. No need to carry 2 sets.

I use a small coach wallet that has a keychain, so I always have a house key on me. If I'm not driving I don't have car keys.

I take them everywhere. I went away for the weekend with a friend. I grabbed my car keys anyway even though I left my car at home.

Yes and its funny you should post this.
Today DH drove DS & I to school for a school trip. He called me while we were on the bus on the way back that he left the house and locked all the keys inside. I had to hitch a ride home with another parent, and thankfully I took my set of house keys. Or we all would have been outside in the rain

my car keys and house keys are together- so I have to take them
plus I have all my cards on there- my tanning, and discount cards- and I always seem to need them if I don't have them

I always need my keys with me. My DD's boyfriend borrowed my truck and didn't hand me back the keys that night and I had an anxiety attack the next morning when I needed to get to work!
They weren't lost but I didn't know where they were.
