HOnestly I have not really bought ds many clothes this past year. I got a lot of clothes when he was born, Christmas and now after his first birthday he has his winter wardrobe. I usually just buy pj's, and onesies from Children's Place or the department stores when they have sales.

Re: do you spend alot on babys clothes?

I buy her clothes from Old Navy, its cheap and they have the cutest stuff. Sometimes I will shop at the Gap. My inlaws are always giving us Gap gift cards for her when they see us. I love Dennys but they are very $$, so I only go there once in a while. Childrens Place is ok, but I never really see nice stuff there, very rare.
I dont see spending a lot on clothes also, she will only get a few months out of them, she is growing so fast.

I try Chat Icon not to, but it's hard not too when everything is sooo cute! She does get lots of gifts thank goodness so I also buy mostly PJs and onesies and a couple of outfits here and there.

No, not really. I also got so many clothes when she was born and for Christmas. Basically, I didn't really need to buy anything until summer. Her b-day party is this Saturday, so I'm anticipating a lot of fall/winter stuff.

When I do shop, it's mostly at Old Navy and BRU--I find their prices to be very reasonable.

I'm a big bargain shopper so I'm going to say that I don't spend alot. But I do love to browse and make some purchases. It's so hard to resist especially with a girl, you will see. Chat Icon I get alot of really nice hand me downs from my SILs so its really not even necessary for me to shop at all. But I still do...

I received hardly any cloths at my shower, maybe 10 outfits and everything was 0-3 or 3-6 months. I try not to spend to much on cloths but he is growing so fast and more in the length than anything so it is hard to keep up.

Still working on shower clothes as well. I only spend the money for outfits that I really love(boutique stuff). The rest is Grandma and Marshalls/Burlington......

Re: do you spend alot on babys clothes?

I bought a bunch of pjs and outfits for daughter before she was born - all of them for both boy or girl - since I didn't know we were having a girl. We received so many outfits since she was born - and lots of hand-me-down clothing from 2 good friends of ours - so I haven't bought much clothes. You will be overwhelmed with clothing after the baby is born - so I wouldn't buy too much. Daughter is already 6 months and I have over 2 full containers of clothing that doesn't fit her anymore and she isn't even a year old and so many outfits that she barely wore - Unless its an outfit I really love or for a special occasin - I don't believe in spending too many money - since they grow so fast

Re: do you spend alot on babys clothes?

I've barely spent anything. When she was born, we got soo many gifts - she got more summer clothes then she could even wear. And such gorgeous outfits she only got to wear once.

My mother's been doing a good job of building her fall/winter wardrobe. I've picked up a few items than I HAD to have, but otherwise I just shop with grandma Chat Icon

I TRY no to spend alot . Sara goes to a babysitter and I cant see putting her in nice things there. I love Denny's however it is very expensive. Century 21 is great - they have ggod bargains. I stress I try not to spend alot but sometimes I just cant resist.

Re: do you spend alot on babys clothes?

I didn't have to buy Kaylee any clothing for this past year, granted i bought things i felt were too cute to pass. Lately i have been spending a lot on clothing trying to get her readdy for the colder weather. I sale shop as much as i can. I will admit when it comes to holiday attire or party clothing i am really bad at staying in limits.

Re: do you spend alot on babys clothes?

I buy alot of clothes for my son, I am a bargain shopper so I am always scouting the sales but if I see something he "has to" have I will buy it without even thinking about it.

I blame it on two things... 1) I don't buy any clothes for myself anymore, too disgusted and 2) he's a boy, I have sooo much trouble finding good boy stuff that I am always looking! Chat Icon I think girls are easier, everything is flippin' adorable.

on the sale note: The Gap Outlet is having great sales on baby/toddler stuff! 30% off their already marked prices on everything. I got jeans, and camo pants for 7.69 each and tops for $6.99 each!

ETA to answer the question - no I don't think so Chat Icon

Re: do you spend alot on babys clothes?

not really, I just can't justify spending money when I know she will outgrow them so quickly.

I have been blessed with getting handmeovers, gifts and when I do buy her clothes, it's on sale.

Re: do you spend alot on babys clothes?

I buy most of his wardrobe staples at Target. And I shop Baby Gap sales and Old Navy. My 'splurges' are outfits from L&T when they are having a sale and I have their coupons!

So I think I get good deals, but he has a LOT of clothes!

Re: do you spend alot on babys clothes?

I have major shopping issues, but I pretty much only buy things if I feel like it's a good deal. My son hasn't even been born yet and he's got enough clothes to last him the first year of life- not like that will stop me from shopping. Chat Icon
