Not all the way. We close it part of the way, but still leave it open a crack.

closed, she's such a light sleeper and DH gets up for the day at 430 and she would be up with him if her door were left open

we keep Jacob's door shut when he is sleeping...we still use the monitor so I can hear him all night.

Same here and we have 1 cat, but, he makes his way in...LOL
Also DS is a light sleeper, so, the door stays closed!

I leave it open just a crack to keep the cat out and the cool air in because it gets so warm in there.

We keep it open. If he cries at night, it's easier to hear him instead of using the sound on the video monitor. DH doesn't like sleeping to the sound of static!

we used to keep it open and then summer came with the ac.... during that time ds figured out how to stand in the crib... the door is right next to the crib so a now if i leave the dorr even cracked open he swings it open and shouts up up up everytime he arises.. and he can see me in my bed from that spot... so door closed it is

We leave it open, along with our door. Though during the day during naps and while we are still awake at night, it is closed.

Well, I was/am very paranoid about SIDS. So in the summer I would shut it, but always have the ceiling fan on. Now that its colder, I open it overnight. I keep it closed during naps. Since she is older now there is a really low risk of SIDS so I am not as worried. Bt I just dont like having the door closed for so many hours overnight

same here. besides that we have a raised ranch so I close it to keep the noise from us going to bed and getting up earlier out.

Depends on the temperature in the house. If it is warm then no. If it is cold then yes.
