Do you pump?

I usually pump my own gas but I need gas today and I am thinking of splurging on full service. Do you pump when it's freezing?

Brrrrrrrrrrr

Re: Do you pump?

If I get gas at BJ's, I pump myself, but in the winter, I get gas closer to home so I don't have to get out and freeze my butt off!

ETA: I live in Huntington and all gas stations are full service.

I always pump, but they don't really have full service stations in CT.

Re: Do you pump?

I have one full service station by me that is lower than most self serves.
If I am not near that one I pump.

I always pump my own gas (except in NJ) - it only takes a few minutes.

Re: Do you pump?

i pump. the extra $ to me is worth a few minutes of cold, and it doesn't take all that long to fill up my car anyway

Re: Do you pump?

I pump all the time, it's really no big deal. It's a b!tch in this cold, but it's better than handing some stranger my CC. Unless Kevin is with me, then he pumps!!

Re: Do you pump?

You've got to find Full serve where you don't have to pay. As AP said in Huntington all are full serve. In Smithtown-on teh corner of Edgewood and Jericho is FS. Also in Hauppauge on 111 just before Branchinelli's

Me too (although I actually live in NY but, we get our gas in NJ because we're right on the border and the gas is so much cheaper there!)

ETA - The only time I ever had to pump was when I was OOS in college because I grew up in the Town of Huntington and then moved to NJ.
