Re: Do you nap?

Quick cat naps do wonders if I'm not feeling well, just closing my eyes for a few minutes if I'm at work.

If I'm home I only nap if there's nothing else going on, or again if I'm not feeling well.

Big Napper here. I love naps.....take them as often as possible!

Ditto this. Even just 20 minutes and I feel refreshed.

Re: Do you nap?

I love taking naps! Some days I fall asleep watching TV after work but not too often.

But on weekends, me and DH are BIG fans of naps! (Especially if it's a yucky day out!)

Re: Do you nap?

A few times a week, I may sneak in a 10 minute nap.
Sometimes, they do wonders.

If Im sick, I'll nap if someone is around to watch DS, or, I'll try and sneak a nap when he's napping.

Before children I was a HUGE napper--I would take 2-3 hour naps after work!

Re: Do you nap?

I can't nap, or I'll get all groggy and disgruntled for at least an hour after I wake up again. It's not even worth it because it throws off my whole day, including whatever event I was resting up for!

Me too!! Add a major headache to that and that's why I don't take naps!

My SO though takes a 2 hour nap just about EVERY FREAKIN DAY!! I just don't understand it!

Yes. I usually nap during my daughter's naps. I cannot live without a nap every couple of days.

LOVE to nap. I try to almost everyday after work but doesn't always work. My dog curls up by my feet & I get a power nap in until DH comes home. Chat Icon

I love naps! This particular school year is a bit more exhausting than years past, so I am falling asleep on the couch more!

Re: Do you nap?

No. When I do take a nap I wake up with sour stomach and very cranky for the rest of the day, so not worth it!

Re: Do you nap?

It's not built into my day, but if I got lousy sleep the night before, or if I feel really miserable, AND I know it won't interfere with my sleeping will the following night, I will try to nap in the late afternoon.

I think we would all be happier campers if we had a 45 minute naptime built into our day.
