Do you limit your caffine while TTC?
I have to have a cup of coffee in the morning. I dont think it is really the caffine that i need it is mostly just the taste of the coffee. So i think i will switch to decaf soon

I've been limiting my caffeine intake. I have one cup of regular in the morning & then decaf if I crave coffee throughout the day.

I stopped all caf about 2 months ago. I don't think thats necessary though. Even when you are preggers I believe you are allowed 1 cup a day. But I figured,,,why bother...might as well get used to the decaf now....

I switched to decaf a couple of months ago and lately I just cut out coffee and soda al together. I do have a cup of caffeinated tea in the morning.

I would drink a huge cup of 7-11 coffee in the morning and then drink diet soda all day. Since we've been TTC I have cut back to only a 20 oz. coffee in the morning and one can of soda during the day.
I figured it would be easier to slowly cut back now instead of finding out we were pregnant and having to drastically cut back.

i havent read too much on this, but does caffine hinder the TTC process? I know its not great for when you are pregnant..
but i love me some starbucks during the work day, so im just curious...

Yes, but I needed to do it anyway. I drink way too much tea and soda. Now I have flavored sletzer and 1-2 cups of tea a day, after that I switch to decaf

I didn't at first, but then after my m/c I switched to decaf. Now I only have caffeine very rarely.

I do not have any caffeine after noon..and only have 2 cups of tea in the morning.
I HATE IT because I love fountain diet cokes.

I am the same. In the morning I drink a cup of coffe, but it is half reg and half deacf. I also cut out all diet soda. I drink seltzer or water now. Whether it plays a part in TTC or not, I don't think all that caffeine is good for you.

I never drink coffee or tea but I do love a pepsi a few times a week. I dont drink it that much but wont cut back until I actually get pregnant. Then I will switch to caffeine free.

I have been cutting back because I have terrible pain in my breasts. This was at my OB's advice, and I thought it couldn't hurt to listen!

No- I have been trying for 14 months now- and honestly- if I'd cut back on everything like caffeine and alcohol I'd be even MORE depressed about this whole thing than I already am!

I am trying to cut down. I work 12 hour tours overnight. So it is very hard to cut it all out or I would never make it throught the night. But I am trying and drinking about 1/2 of what I was. I am a tea person and its hard to cut down.
