Thankfully I have nice strong nails and don't have to worry about them. I marvel at how long some of the ladies getting fake nails are in the nail salon!

i cant stand fake nails on me.
but i have great nails. I cut them short like stubs every 6-7 weeks and by the end of the month they are long as if i have fake nails on.

real- I had fake ones years ago and then I have the forever french for a while
I prefer my nails short- so it didn't make sense to keep paying for fake ones- plus the time sitting there made me want to poke my eye out

Fake, but my real nails are nasty. I tried to stick with natural & short and went for weekly manicures, but I hated the way my natural nails looked, so I went back to the gel/bonded nails.
I don't mind hanging at the nail salon. I get a Spa Pedicure, which takes an hour, while they work on my nails.

I had silk wraps for YEARS! I got sick of the maintenance and spending so much money on them. best thing I ever did was take them off!

fake here..they are the same length as my nails but make them stronger. Also, the nail polish stays on better.
Right now I have perm french but I will soak them off soon and get a new set.
I don't really like sitting there but it's a bit of pampering and time to myself as well.

I had fake, but I took them off and now I am back to real. I hate the way my hands look, but I am going to try the manicures weekly and see how it goes

I havent had tips or anything on my nails in such long time. Mostly b/c I dont have the patience to get them done all the time.
The thing i hate about natural nails though, is that polish never stays on my nails for more than a few days and then chips like mad

I used to , I took them off after the honeymoon-I had enough of the upkeep-time and $$, now I just get regular manicures on my very short nails
