do you give birthday gifts to your brothers,sisters, bil,sil?
me & my brother havent exchanged gifts in years for birthdays/anniversaries,we just send cards...but i always send gifts for my niece/nephews. Christmas is different.
on my Dh side, he's got 2 brothers, one sis n law and we always give them gifts..I dont want to sound cheap but every birthday/anniversary every year adds up, and i think that once you have kids you should just give gifts to the kids... One bil now has a baby, and i would love to spoil her...
am i wrong?

Our siblings (we are both have two) get b-day presents, none of them are married. I don't think we will do anniversary gift when they do get married, though.

its just weird..it makes me feel bad then that we dont do it with my brother and sil.
i dunno..
in my family growing up...as we got a little older, even our aunts and uncles didn't give us gifts, and it was totally understandable.

We always give b-day gifts to DH sisters and thier husbands (they give to us too), but only sometimes my brother and his wife- usually if we happen to be seeing them around their b-days, which isn't often but they don't usually get us anything either.

We exchange birthday gifts with my sister & BIL.
On DH's side, we get his nieces & nephew BD gifts but not his brother & SIL but we do get them something for Christmas.

Just my sister and BIL and my DH brother and SIL, when there are kids I am sure it will just be for the kids. That is all we exchange with. It gets way too expensive, I have a big family. ( DH has 4 brothers and there wifes, and I have 1 sister and BIL on my side, etc) When we get together it is a lot of people....

a few years ago, we decided just on our milestone bdays, 25, 30, 35, etc. otherwise just the kids.
but sometimes I cant help it and I get a little something anyway, but usually token, fun gifts, nothing major.

My sister and I exchange...DH's side we just give to the kids (there's 7 of them) b/c he's one of 7 and everyone decided it was getting to be too much (especialy with all the SO's).
I tend to spoil my sister's daughter more than our other niece's and nephew's...

Just one sister - not my other sister and 3 brothers - they all live out of state - unless we happen to be together for some odd reason on someone's birthday.
Christmas we get NICE gifts for all the kids and in return get things like a kitchen towel with SAnta on it from "the family" ...
