do you ever have a month where you feel hopeless

I know its only been 9 months of TTC but this month I just feel like crap about this. I dont even feel like using the OPT (I'm on CD7) or being on a BD schedule. I'm at the point where DH & I are thinking... when it happens it happens. & Honestly I'm so sick and tired of people asking me about it. I just feel like crying sometimes. I just want to add that I hate when people say, well you have to stop thinking about it, it will happen when you're not thinking about it or when you're not stressed out.
Ok.... Well I personally & honestly think that when that time in your life comes when you are seriously ready and want a baby, then its so hard to NOT think about it. Its easier for someone who is not ready or is not trying to say that. it just realllly realllly pisses me off.


ETA: just wanted to say that after reading Deanna's plan I have hope again and I'm glad I signed on this morning bc you ladies give me hope and I dont feel like I'm the only one

9 months is a LONG time to want something so badly and not be able to get it. You have every right to feel upset.

We didn't (and haven't) told people IRL that we are TTc - that's one thing that has helped, since we don't really get those questions.

Believe me, if you were to look back at some of my posts from where you are... I felt like giving up too! It's easy to feel defeated.

One thing we tried to do was add something new each month - it made us feel like we were upping our chances each time. Started with OPKs, then CBEFM, then temping/charting, preseed, mucinex, etc.

I think this is a good time for your DH to get an SA done... that's the simplest, least invasive first step for IF testing!

Don't let other people add pressure to you ! It is VERY annoying for people to ask you when you are TTC and it tends to take the fun away from all that BD and makes it a chore instead .

today, I'm having a hopeless day.
on day 33 still no AF, confused by my body and wondering if it is ever going to happen for us....


Majority of the time I'm positive, but the hopeless days really do suck!


skip OPKs this month if you aren't feeling into it, try a month of just winging it if you want too

Don't give up hope! There are alot of people on this board that are having or gone through the same thing you are going through. 9 months is a long time but sometimes it takes 11 or 12. Just don't give up. it will happen for you!

I felt that way last month and although it was only try #3 I was frustrated and ready to give up.

This month we are very much 'whatever happens, happens' and I have to say that this 2ww has been stress free. I don't feel like it's our month but I remind myself that it's okay. So much has been going on that I haven't had time to think of it...and I like it that way. The past three months were torture and I am not cut out for that kind of stress.

I am so sorry you have to listen to people say those things to you. Ultimately, although you know they are trying to help, it's still a hurtful reminder that it's just not happening. I agree with maybeamommy, your next step would be an SA. Would DH be up for that? It's simple and it might give you a surprise of an answer. Sometimes it's better to lay all your cards on the table and know what you're working with, you know? I am sending you strength and hope to keep you going til your BFP!!!!

I think everyonehas their moments of feeling hopeless,unless it happens within the first month (for the lucky few) you are definitely not alone

You definitely are not alone!! We all have our moments where we feel like things are not going the right way and feel lost and hopeless. We are all here to support you through the good times of TTC and the bad. Feel free to vent away... Hang in there. You will get your BFP soon. It may take a little longer than others but your time will come!
