Except for holiday dresses, I feel that most of DD's clothes are stylish and comfy. I dress her the same way everyday - daycare or out on weekends.

Although these days she likes to pick out her clothes which is really frustrating sometimes!! Like today, she has a really cute outfit on and insisted on wearing cowboy boots. They totally did not go, but I let her wear them anyway.

Yep, we went to my IL's for dinner Sunday night. Ryan wore a thermal long-sleeved tee, fleece jogging pants, snowboots and a cowboy hat Chat Icon

I am sure we all try to have a good mix of both but I know for me with my girls, comfort trumps style in the end. I just can't put them in something super stylish and have them be uncomfy. If it is sylish and comfy, that is a bonus. I myself LOVE to be comfy in my clothes.
What about you?

I am with you 100% on this!

comfort ALWAYS. Em's skin is so finicky - i have to keep her comfortable & 'cool' all the time. stylish is bonus - but i truly only care about her comfort (ex: if she's too hot - she'll get heat rash)...

Mostly comfy, but I love that most of their comfy stuff is also stylish, like a cute shirt with leggings, or a nice, chunky sweater with jeans and uggs (or fake uggs in my case Chat Icon )

Editied for my many typos

Comfort and convenience now that we are potty training. If we don't have anywhere "nice" to go, I try to do track suits and comfy pants a lot. It's easier than buttoning and zippering jeans all day. Plus I want DS to start attempting to pull up and down his pants himself.

both...I love style, but will not put her in anything that would be uncomfortable...If we have a special occasion I always try to have her stylish but don't want her to be uncomfortable

I am all about the comfort factor. My kids rarely wear jeans---I think they are stiff and restricting. I mostly dress my girls in what I wear----leggings, fleece, sweatpants. My older DD recently got very into dresses so she wears them often but again comfortable fabrics.

Comfort. DD prefers tunics with leggings and DS prefers long sleeve tees with athletic pants.

Re: Do you dress your child more for style or comfort?

Very girly comfort during the week, lots of jeans, everything has to match, more dressed on weekends, and always stylish when we go out. I have to dress her up now while I still can.

Absolute comfort, just like me. I often feel guilty about it because she is inheriting mom's lack of style.Chat Icon

I guess a mix of both. I like my DD to look cute and stylish but at the same time I do want her to be comfy otherwise she will give me a hard time. Chat Icon

Mainly for comfort at her age.
We only really dress her for style when we are going somewhere.
But around the house- it's ALL about comfort.
She's 7 months old- what does she need to be stylish for sitting aroudn the house eating, pooping and crying? Chat Icon

I switch it up depending on what we are doing. Lounging at home and daycare I defintely go for comfort. But if we are going out somewhere I tend to go for style.

I am in the same boat. If DSs cannot wear something long enough for me to see if it fits in the dressing room, then it goes back on the rack no matter how stylish. They are also at the age where they are starting to choose their own clothes in the store. Especially with boys, though, I think it is hard to always look stylish since sooooooo many of the clothes for boys are sweats, tees and sports-related clothes.

Ditto. My kids went to get their V-day pics done the other day & G actually asked me where his tie was. :)
