Do you curse a lot?
DH's sister in law is very religious and conservative, and that's how she is raising her daughter.
needless to say, they do not ever curse. the worst thing they will say when they're angry is "darn".
DH reminded me last night to watch the cursing when we see them next week for Christmas. I was a little shocked by what he said... so I asked him if he thought I cursed a lot. he said "we both do".  It really upset me that I do it so often, that I don't even notice it!

Like a truck driver. DH HATES it.
ETS: This is of course at home when we are alone. I am NOT speaking like this in a work/public setting. Im not that bad.

I try not to, but sometimes it just comes out. I NEVER do at work. I don't know how, but it's like a switch I flip when I'm here, I wish I could do that all the time.

me too. I curb it when I have to so I'm conscious of it. I can curse with the best of them.

I definitely curse, but not as much as I used to. I used to not be able to say a sentence w/o cursing. I've tried to become more aware, especially since DH has 2 impressionable kids (14 and 10).

Unfortunately I do..and I am TRYING to control it, but when I am angry....watch out.
I know it's an excuse, but I grew up listening to my mom curse a lot..and I really feel that contributed to my "potty mouth". LOL! As much as I said I would not do it...I do. Now it's time for me to take responsibility for my foul mouth.

when I'm angry or telling a heated story, then yes, but I try not to.
DH on the other hand is a union carpenter and curses A LOT. I try to catch him.

Strangely enough, I do most of my cursing at work with co-workers or when I'm on the phone with my mom 
So I'm usually okay in all other settings. DH also really doesn't curse much at all and he sometimes will "scold" me if I'm on a rant at home over something.

Omg yes!
My daughter is now trying to repeat stuff..I was cursing out a guy who almost hit me the other day, road rage...and she started babbling in the same tone in the back seat.

haha--f*king A', i do too. its like second nature to me.
however i do know when to turn it on and off. like if i'm at a gathering where i know its inappropriate (i.e.--like a children's party, or meeting new ppl for the first time, business meeting)...i will refrain and watch my language.
but if i'm among our regular friends and at a bar or just hanging out--i drop the F bombs like crazy

I almost never do. I usually don't find a need to. I do when it's needed, and I'm in company that will accept it. Even if I hurt myself, I don't curse.
My SIL, however....  She has a 9yo DD, and we have a 4.5yo DS and 1.5yo DD, and she curses constantly.... around the kids...  I find that very disrespectful.
