Funny...my first thought was "in what regard?"
Politically, socially, financially, sexually.....
ALL OF THE ABOVE
Heck, then that's my answer! All of the above!
I'm somewhat conservative on some things and on other issues I'm shockingly liberal.

Re: Do you consider yourself to be
The only thing I can't stand are people who believe that they are right all the time and no one else is entitled to an opinion.
I just wish more people would recognize that two intelligent, informed people can - gasp - come to different opinions.
And no, this is not a direct comment on anything posted here. (I thought many of the posts were funny) This more comes from my experiences beyond this site. I like a good debate as much as the next person, but I also appreciate when both sides can agree to disagree. I just prefer when people respect that sometimes, we're just going to disagree.

Liberal.
Although I've considered registering as a Republican. Not because I believe in their platforms but because I want to vote out the guys I can't stand.

Re: Do you consider yourself to be
I lean more to the right than the left, but there are a couple of issues I'm really on the fence about. I guess that makes me "moderately conservative."

I think in New York, I would be considered a conservative. But in the rest of the country, I would be considered a moderate.
same here.

Flaming liberal.
I will have to disown my daughter if she becomes, or marries, a republican
HA! My uber conservative father married my flaming liberal mother. It worked.
Me? I am somewhere down the middle. I don't align myself with any particular philosophy outside of live and let live!

Re: Do you consider yourself to be
I guess I'm moderately liberal. It really depends entirely on the issue though. I think people are often surprised by my stance on certain things.

Me too!! Is my son too young for your daughter?
My parents ALWAYS told my sister and I that they'd disown us if we married someone republican.

Re: Do you consider yourself to be
Compassionate Conservative.
I am conservative on abortion, homeland security and immigration.
I feel that I am moderate on Fiscal issues (social services and programs for families who REALLY NEED it), Children's issues (no child left behind), The Iraq War. I hope this makes sense.
Basically I know I will have a hard time voting in '08. I thought Rudy was great after 9/11, but his stance on abortion, how he left his wife (Donna Hanover), how his own children hate him, I don't know.
honestly feel the best candidate is John McCain, for he stance on immigration, homeland security, and his past as a solider. However, I doubt he will win the Republican nomination.
