Do you believe...
That babies/children are closer to the other side then we are because of having been born more recently? Do you believe some can see spirits/angels/loves ones who passed? Does anyone have any first hand experiences?
Since my dd turned two there have been four instances that have happened. She is starting to scare me a little. She doesn't seen stressed or concerned but she talks about someone and told me something that there is NO way she would have known. It's starting to creep me out when she's telling me many times now whenever this "spirit" is in the car with us or in the room with us.

Re: Do you believe...
I think so. This may sound crazy but I think my grandmother talks to my DS or visits him in his dreams. Since she died, he has said 3 different phrases that she always used that are old school and nobody else says them.
For example, when I was a child and being mischievous, she would shake her finger at me and say "You naughty rascal!" My DS called me that one day and it caught me off guard. Then DH was laughing one day and said "DS says some funny things. He shook his finger at me and called me a naughty rascal. Who says that?!" The only one I know who said that was my grandmother.
There were a couple of other similar instances too. It freaks me out and comforts me all at the same time.

Re: Do you believe...
I believe it. My niece pointed out my mom in a picture when she was about 18 months and said her name followed by grandma. Then a few months later she was looking out the window waving and saying "grandma Maria". Really freaked my sister out.

Do you believe...
Omg...so funny you posted this tonight!
DS1 (23 months) has randomly started talking about Pop Pop and Papa during bedtime routine. Both passed 2 years before he was born. He did this once before around a year and a half and now again. We don't reference them all that much around the house on a daily basis but they are mentioned.
He has been saying they blow him kisses and they are happy and smile. Weird! But yet, comforting to me as it breaks my heart they are not here to see Ds1 and now Ds2.

Re: Do you believe...
When my girls were about a month or 2 old, I was holding both in our dark bedroom while DH got bottles. Both of their heads turned and followed "something" across the ceiling of the room at the same time. I looked too and didn't see anything.
Now they are both saying "Nanny" so we don't know if my Nanny is visiting them. Their grandparents (our parents) aren't called Nanny. They say that kids are more open to it. A girl I babysat for described her grandmother who had passes before she was born to a tee. I kinda want to show my kids a pic of my Nanny and see what happens.

I've shown her some photos and she didn't have a reaction. She talks abt this man in a general term. I asked his name and she said something but I couldn't understand her. What freaked me out is she started making this horrible throat noise and told me the man makes that noise. And I asked where is he? "He right here mommy, here in mommys car!"

Re: Do you believe...
Absolutely!! Not just my DD but I have a younger cousin who told us stories about our Nana (who died long before she came around) that included her favorite color and love of kids and animals. DD has never spoken of her but used to smile at "something" off in the corner that DH and I never saw and used to smile and say "Nana" up at her mobile (when it was off). Funny thing is, both of these kids are miracle babies born after years of losses for my aunt and IF for me. I'm pretty sure my Nana had something to do with them getting here! Kids are just so more tuned in to the supernatural world around them, their little heads aren't cluttered up like ours.

Yes, I'm convinced my daughter could see my dad who passed away when she was 14 months old.
We don't have too many occurrences any more I think bc she is getting older. But she has said many things to me and my mom that she wouldn't have known.
One time, she flat out, pointed out the window and said to me "poppy is here, he is right here!"

Re: Do you believe...
I had imaginary friends as a kid- About 3 or 4 yo. I only remember b/c my mom told me. They were kids and a brother and sister. I'm not sure if they were spirits or I was bored b/c my little sister was a baby. Or it could have been my mean older cousins doing, putting stuff in my head. He was always getting us younger ones in trouble. lol

Yes she does things like that too. But I can't figure out who she is talking about. My grandfather and uncle she sees in pictures. My husbands grandparents and aunts and uncles are all from another country and most have passed. But my husband didn't have a connection with them.
It's chilling when she comes in my room and closes the door and triumphantly is like "haha! De man out dere, I close de door on him". Or points and shows me where he is.
Driving her to school the other day and I went down the wrong road (towards my parents by mistake) as soon as I realized and turned around she starts yelling that the man is in the car with us. It makes me wonder did he come to give me a nudge like "you're going the wrong way, don't be even later to work" and she happened to see him? I literally turned around to look but saw nothing.

Not because they are newborn but because they have no reason NOT to believe. We haven't told them what is real or what to focus on. They are more open. I think even adults get glimpses but we choose to ignore them or brush them off in an instant it is as if it never happened.

OMG!
Have you thought about maybe going to a medium to see if the "man" comes through and tells you who he is?

Do you believe...
My dd always waves to someone in our house, sometimes babbles to thin air. I was away last week and Dh texted me that dd was doing that freaky thing where she waves to thin air. We are convinced its someone she sees because she doesn't randomly wave to air except when we are in the house.

A few months ago, we were looking at pictures and my grandmother passed away a week before my son was born, and we were looking at a picture of her and other people and he pointed to her and said thats "grandma B++++" No one ever spoke about her…..but he knew her and her name!!!! Then a couple weeks later he told us what town she lived in….and he was correct……frightening…but comforting at the same time

Do you believe...
I believe. When my twins were babies they would stare at the corner of the room near where their baby monitor camera was and just look all around there. They'd smile and giggle. When they started talking and walking they'd wake up in the morning and my DD would look out her bedroom door and yell "nana, nana" and reach her arms out as if she was looking at someone downstairs. My mom passed a year and a half before they were born. She always said when DH and I had kids she did not want to be called grandma. She wanted to be called nana. When my 3rd DS was born and started sleeping in his crib, he's stare and look around the same spot at night and giggle and smile. We have also seen a white dot float around the camera when we look in the monitor. It floats all around the kids' beds. I also have some pictures of y DS when he was about 17 months old. We were at DH's family's house for Easter and while playing outside you can see an orb in the pictures. In each and every picture where the orb is there, DS is looking at it and smiling. He even reached for it in a few pictures. I definitely think they can see things. They are way more open than we are.

That's sweet. I believe that too. She started with this literally right after she turned two. There have been 4 specific situations and several smaller a mentions that I could chalk up to nothing.
The thing I can't figure out who this person would be? I did go to see a psychic medium in April. He was awesome and I had a great reading. But at that time she wasn't able to verbalize the way she can now. I am considering going back bc I am so curious.
When she was a baby she would look and giggle at empty spaces or sometimes she'd be nursing and pull herself off and look at part of the room - all quiet no distractions. I used to always say "are you looking at the angels?" I am so so curious. Everyone is instructed to not bring it up to her, I don't want to turn it into a game or something that she starts adding imaginary facts too. Also she only does it to me!

Not being snarky, I am wondering in what way someone could know/think that? Just a feeling?

Well she is 'supposedly' a medium who communicates with people who have passed on. (whether or not I 100% believe that, I am not sure yet, but that isn't the point). So let's say she DOES communicate with people who are passed, they tell her this. They say, oh I held my grandchild's soul, before it was born. It's a lot of reality to suspend I guess, but if you believe in souls and after life, etc. I guess it's possible
