I did have one - but she left.  It's a small office - only 4 others and me - and though they are all very nice, no one really hangs out outside work.

A year after I started my job my Dad had a severe stroke and my social life was severely curtailed (basically down to zero). They all bonded w/o me. It's ok because I was over the bar scene anyway.

Yes. We've all worked together for a long time and we're like family. Two are my Mom's age, but we still go to a lot of concerts, trips to Moheghan and a nascar race once a year.

Yes. Every once in awhile, we go to Happy Hour, but there are two other teachers who are on the younger side and we have similar experiences.
