do I have a homer simpson baby?

At 18w and now at 20w I had profile sono pics taken. And each time the babys upper lip sticks way out and the chin is sorta receded. Can't post a pic so the best eay I can describe it is homer simpsonlip like. God forgive me lol. Is this normal?? Does anyone have profile pics of their dcs around this time???

ok, you are too funny! you sound like me! those sono pics are not good indicators of what your baby will look like....i am sure he will be very handsome!

that's really funny you said that. I had the level II when I was a bit past 21 weeks and DH immediately pointed out our baby's puffy upper lip on the screen. He always teases me because I have pretty full lips and the top one is a bit fuller than the bottom so he said she had mommy's lips already.

I don't have a pic tho, we only got 4 and two of them were foot prints The other two are 3d face on and kinda creepy

I just had my ultrasound last week @ 19w & I noticed the exact same thing!! As the other posters said, I don't think the sono pics are all that accurate.

Well my son was born preemie and he looked like that at birth! I was like, wait, why is his chin/bottom lip so receded??? It wasn't horrible or anything, just something I noticed. Also, his ears were so close to his head, they almost looked attached around the whole rim! Well, suffice it to say that he's a very normal looking child now. I think he just needed to finish growing and within a couple/few months, everything was where it should be.

So in other words, DON'T go by the sono!

My baby has pretty big lips according to my last sono. Well, I highly doubt it is going to work out that way. My DH and I both have pretty small lips, as does our 6 year old daughter. I think the sonos have a way of distorting things!

LOL I know exactly what you're talking about because I said the same exact thing when I saw DS's sono pics!! I was worried he was going to be born with a very weak chin but that wasn't the case at all.

thanks girls.... sounds soooo vain of me...but its just another thing for me to freak myself out about ...of course its all about the health....but i dont make enough money for homer simpson reconstructive surgery lol tyyyy
