Disney Character Dining
We're taking DS to Disney in October, he's only going to be 7 months so I know it is more for DH and I but we still want to reserve some character dining (in hopes he won't be freaked out ) We always do the Crystal Palace... any others your LOs like??

Crystal Palace was the best for us, food wise. We also liked Chef Mickeys!

We are going in October too and I found that a lot of the places are already booked. I only found 1 opening at 9:00PM. Too late for us.

We took ds at 14 months and he loved the Crystal Palace because it was Winnie the Pooh and friends which were his favorites at the time!
eta- I see a lot of people posted Chef Mickey's- which I agree is totally awesome- if you are thinking about it, I would make the reservation now- they always fill up so fast!

I looked at Chef Mickey's online and they only have really late reservations for the dates we will be there. I know Disney holds some times open for people making last minute reservations when they arrive so I may try calling when it gets a little closer. Thanks for the recommendation!

If you would consider a character breakfast some of those places have openings... I booked Crystal Palce and Cape May Place (that one is in our resort) for breakfast. One is at 9:50a and the other at 10:15a... not as early as we usually eat breakfast but that's ok!
Keep checking for the dinner reservations!! You never know what could open up!

Re: Disney Character Dining
I'd definitely say Chef Mickey's. We took DD to Disney for the first time when she was 11 months. She was fascinated with the characters at Chef Mickey's.

Re: Disney Character Dining
I would actually skip chef mickeys. Although it is usually a must do -it is very loud, chaotic, and my very out going character loving 15 month old was scared. What about garden grill. Lower keyed place. Farmer mickey, pluto, chip and dale. The characters came by 2-3 times played peekaboo danced etc. The restaurant rotates slowly over the living with the land ride. Might be quieter and a more fun way to meet mickey.
My girls loved crystal palace so that is a good choice. What about tusker house? Haven't tried it but on here it gets good reviews.

Tucker house was our favorite! Animal kingdom right next to the animal safari ride.

I liked this one a lot (we didn't do Chef Mickeys - when I originally booked this one was the one available and I took a poll on here and more people recommended Tusker House).
I also liked the Disney Jr breakfast at Hollywood Studios but, it was more since my almost 3 year old loves those shows.
