Discouraged
Today AF showed up. I don't know why but I really thought this time I was PG. We BD'd more, at the right time, I was calm, I ate the Barilla past - and I just felt like I had symptoms.
Now I'm at work and just got damn AF. DH doesn't get it, he's calm about the whole thing. We've only been trying since Aug. - but it seems like forever. I know there's people on here who have been trying for longer, so I know 6 mo. is really nothing, but it still feels lousy.

Re: Discouraged
I completely understand how you are feeling. Last cycle I was convinced that we had done everything right and the day I got AF I just started crying. DH just didn't understand why I was upset and it turned into a huge argument. We've been trying since Sept and although I know that isn't a long time at all in the grand scheme of things, it still hurts every time AF arrives. Just know that you are not alone.

Re: Discouraged
I totally understand..I also got AF last month, and started hysterically crying, and DH also didn't get it and said we've only been trying two months etc.... But it is hard, and every month we have a range of emotions that will get us...so I just wanted to give you and some for next month!!!

Re: Discouraged
I completely understand... I posted the same thing last month!
It's definitely a difficult cycle that we go through each month. We go from hopeful to anxious to heartbroken, and it's hard to deal with month after month.
We've been trying since September and although that may not be a long time for most, it still hurts to be disappointed each month.
I've taken a more laid back approach this month... deciding not to test until AF is due or late. I think it might save a little bit of the heartbreak. Also, I just try to thing of the positive things when AF rolls aroud... sushi, cocktails, coffee
I know it's hard, but we're all here for you

Re: Discouraged
I completely understand it & DH never gets it. When I saw my Dr this month, she explained it. Women get more emotional about it bc we go through all the motions. Men just do their deed & if we are not PG, they get next month. They don't live through the symptoms, the cramps nor AF....We become emotional messes & it is completely normal. I stopped trying to explain this to DH last month. Now I have my venting session alone & push foward.

Re: Discouraged
sigh, the stresses of TTC
I'm trying to keep in mind that only 1 in 4 fertilized eggs begin dividing and implant properly.... so theoretically, I have to hit the mark and BD at the appropriate time for several months before the odds are in my favor.... this is the only thing that keeps me calm.
try to keep your chin up

Re: Discouraged
spooks, I totally understand where you are coming from. we are going into our 5 month TTC (AF is due on 1/16 but I'm sure I am not PG). I'm getting very tired of this driving myself crazy, it's very difficult each month. DH does not understand, he says don't worry, next month. It's very draining. I don't have any advice for you, I know it's tough to stay positive sometimes

Re: Discouraged
Thanks everyone - I knew as soon I posted I'd feel better. It stinks that we're all going through this-but I know when the time is right it will happen for all of us - its just hard to stay positive sometimes. DH and I talked about it when I got home, still doesn't get it "relax, i told you not to put pressure, it'll happen next time....." - so easy to say then actually do.
Well, to everyone here !

Re: Discouraged
I completely understand where you are coming from. This is our 5th cycle and I am due for AF next week. We are doing everything right (as far as we know) so I just don't understand. It's very discouraging and upsetting and confusing and sad.
DH gets upset, not as upset as I do but upset at least.
For us all =

Re: Discouraged
I completely understand. Dh and I have been trying since July and it really can be so disappointing.I never thought I would feel this way in such a short time. I also feel that no one else really understands. I am going to give you some for next month.

I feel like noone else understands as well. If someone tells me to drink wine and relax one more time, I think I might lose it!
