I TRY to put them right in the hamper, but sometimes they land on the floor and then the next day I put them in the hamper.

I put mine straight in washer unless it is cold water clothes, but DH uses the hamper.

A laundry basket in my room,
I have never been able to find a Hamper that held more than 2 days worth of clothes.

I put dirty clothes in the hamper
FH puts dirty socks on the floor, dirty pants/shorts on the desk chair and dirty shirt on top of the hamper in the bathroom (we have 2- bathroom = towles and the bedroom one is for clothes)
