Dip in milk supply after AF?
So I got AF back at 5.5 months PP.
I noticed a drop in my supply the few days preceding AF, but at the time, I didn't understand why. Once AF came, I figured that was why.
Now AF is gone and my supply did not go back up. I exclusively pump for 4 months now, and was a very efficient pumper. I always had a stash. Now I just pump enough to feed DS everyday, but not enough to stash.
I've been taking more milk plus..it usually works great for me, but doesn't seem to be working for me.
Has anyone else experienced this?? Did your milk eventually increase?? TIA

Re: Dip in milk supply after AF?
This actually happened to me this time & I got AF at 6 weeks PP (crazy). My supply went down a day/two preceeding AF & has gone up a bit; but not to where it was prior. I'm trying to drink more water & haven't ventured to fenugreek yet; but that's my next step.
With DD after AF arrived my supply went down too (I think) but I remember it went up at some point & I pumped exclusively until a year w/ no problem.
Oatmeal helps as well.

Happened to me. After I realized what it was, the next month as soon as I noticed a dip in supply I started taking fenugreek, and took it the entire time AF was in town. I also added an extra pumping session each day, and increased my water intake.
