Did your morning sickness ease up?

Hi Ladies - I'm at 11 weeks and have my "morning sickness" only at night time. I am super sensitive to smells and have a lot of food aversions during the day but nothing compares to how I feel at night. I found that if I snack all day long at work and eat a decent breakfast I make it fine through the work day. However, EVERY night I am SO sick with nausea that I have to get right into bed, otherwise I'm in the bathroom throwing up. Chat Icon I was wondering if anyone found that there nausea dissipated at all? I know everyone is different and this can continue the whole pregnancy but was hoping to hear it had gotten better for some!??

Anyone else suffer from the night time nausea? My doctor said it can happen anytime of day...

Re: Did your morning sickness ease up?

My morning sickness was bad in the beg. in the morning and at night. Around 13 weeks though my morning sickness subsided for the most part and there were only 3 times since that I got sick. Overall though about 13 weeks I felt 100 times better!

Re: Did your morning sickness ease up?

I've only gotten sick in the morning, but I'm very nauseous in the late afternoon/evening. I tend to wake up in the middle of the night b/c of nausea and/or hunger.

Are you taking anything for the nausea? I hope you feel better soon. Chat Icon

I haven't been taking anything other than things that everyone tells will help...preggie pops, gingerale, carbs, etc.

Re: Did your morning sickness ease up?

I am starting to get it a nighttime as well. It starts around 4 maybe and then lingers until I fall asleep. I am looking forward to starting to feel better! I hope you do soon too!

Re: Did your morning sickness ease up?

Mine is terrible at night but i also have it pretty severe. I am taking Zofran and it has worked wonders..i am about 11 weeks now so my ob was telling me it usually starts to ease up around 14 weeks but it is so hard to say bc everyone is so different...ugh! I will freak if it never goes away. Ginger Ale is good but it can become pretty acidic in the stomach...If it gets unbearable there is always zofran..nothing worse that getting terrible sleep...i wake up like every hour now, ugh.

Re: Did your morning sickness ease up?

I heard that snacking and eating regularly helps ease the MS - for me it's every other hour.

If I'm not eating, I'm either sucking on a candy, chewing gum or drinking.

It must be true 'cus I've been eating like a pig lately and have only occasionally experienced very mild MS.

Re: Did your morning sickness ease up?

From weeks 6-12, I had it 24/7. At about 15 weeks it went away completely.

During my first pg, it went away at exactly 13 weeks.
