Did your man use a pickup line?
mine did and I never let him live it down. It was the first day on school in 10th grade. He had just moved from Massachutes that summer. So totally new, I was standing in the hall waiting for my friend to get something out of her locker.
My right hand was in my back pocket, and he comes up to me and says, "Let me know when your hand gets tired, I have 2 replacements right here!"
It took me a minute to realize what he said. Then I was like how corny is that?

That's funny  I met my husband in church, a pickup line he COULD have used could have been "Hey baby, am I in heaven because I hear a choir singing."

He was in 10th grade....what can you expect? Talk about not being smooth. MY DH did not use a pick-up line. We saw each other I shook his hand & said hello and that's how it all began!

That's funny I met my husband in church, a pickup line he COULD have used could have been "Hey baby, am I in heaven because I hear a choir singing."

oh mine gets better. My school was all white, except one adopted black guy. So Leo and his brother make minority #2 and #3. So first he walks by and gives me that line. Then 2 weeks later I get a call, "Do you want to watch me go rollerblading?" I said who is this? He said I am Leo, we were in homeroom. How did you get my number? I heard you giving it to one of your friends.
So I said are you one of the Spanish brothers? He said yeah, and that I should decided quick to watch him being that he is a novelty that everyone is going to want.

he didnt use a line but when we met for the 2nd time ( long story) we were at a bar and we talked about all the cheesy pick up lines there wreer it was quite amussing LOL

yup...
actually what happened was that he called the next day and on my caller ID i saw his last name and ironically a co-worker has the same last name ...
I thought it was my co-worker calling and never picked up!
When i saw the same name the next night i thought something was wrong with my co-worker so i picked up....
I thought Tim looked like Petr Neved...an ex Ranger
