Yes, and you should try to bring him to the first visit (if you can) because the OB will go over both your family medical hsitories with you guys.

Yes.. but our situation was a little different since we had to go through IVF to get pregnant.
However, even if I got pregnant naturally DH would have gone to the first appointment with me. It was very informative for him too, and they also asked for a brief medical history from his side of the family.
The only other appointments he comes to with me are the sono's.

Unfortunately since I am still with a RE, DH missed the first appt when we saw the sac....The times I could get appt's didn't work with his work schedule. However he will be with me next week when we hear the HB....

My DH came to my first appointment but they didnt do a sono til the next one a few days later, he couldnt come bc he was in school. He will be at the level 2 bc he is so excited about seeing his baby and knowing if its a boy or girl. I dont make him come with me to the other ones though because theyre kind of boring for him.

My DH has gone to every single appointment.... It makes him feel more included in teh pregnancy and he likes to be able to ask questions etc.
It's part of the bonding experience I think!

i asked on the phone if theyll do a sono and they said yes, i really wanted him to be there for that. but then i read its such a long visit so i figugred id ask u guys

DH will be away on business next week when I have my first appt  but he met the doc and gave his personal history at our initial appointment b4 TTC. Hopefully he will be able to make all the others

my dh goes to all sono appointments so yes, he will go to the first one where they do a sono to confirm pregnancy and look for that magic ticker of a heartbeat

DH goes with me to all of the sonogram's and he did go to the first visit. I go to the regular prenatals myself since I get out of work much earlier than he does.

No. He was in the academy at the time and couldn't make it.
And he didn't go tot he first sono either.
Just a tip, have him sit at your head for the sono

He came for the first one & to see the heartbeat for the first time.
It wasn't a particularly long visit though. We both had to fill out forms regarding our medical history.

DH came with me to the 8wk appointment. It was very exciting seeing the super fast heart beating on the screen. 
I also had a sono at 5.5 wks but I don't think I was scheduled to have one originally. I got one because I had some spotting/bleeding and they wanted to make sure everything was ok. DH didn't come to that appointment.

He has been to all except 1 when he was on a business trip... an dhe was upset because it wasn't a planned visit ( the dr. didnt hear the heartbeat and I had to go for a sono)

He would of came but I told him that one he didn't need to be there because I didn't think they were gonna do a sono and they did turn around and was able to get me in so I was alittle bummed at that. But since then he has been at every visit with me!! Including tonight which is just a quick check
