Did you wait until DC was 1 to introduce egg whites?

There are some foods I would like to introduce, including some baby foods, but they have egg whites in them. DC is 10 months, would you wait?

No, I think she was 10 months when we introduced scrambled eggs.

I gave DD scrambled eggs at 9 months...and the egg white of hard boiled eggs(which she loves) at 9 months.

DS is 11 months and has only had the yolks. I'm holding off on the whites because I was allergic to eggs as a baby. I'm thinking of trying soon though, I want him to eat pancakes.

didnt know i was supposed to.. she has scrambled eggs includin the whites at 7 months dr was fine with it

My ped okays the whole egg at 10 months. Neither girl had an issue - both ate plain scrambled eggs.

Ok, cause my ped is pretty stict with that but I feel like it's making a lot of stuff that we normally eat "off limits" (pancakes, french toast, certain pastas). Neither one of us was allergic to eggs (or any derivitive of egg).

My ped told me DS can eat anything now at 8 months, but he said only egg yolk until 1 year. But I have made stuff for him with whole eggs, I guess its different if I give it to him alone. We dont have any food allergies in our families so I'm not worried about it, and he's been fine with everything I've cooked.

I was told to wait until a year, but didn't. I gave DS scrambled eggs at 9.5 months and he was fine. I also started whole milk at 10 months, so take my advice for what it's worth.

DS was eating whole eggs by 8/9 months...we gave him a couple yolks and then DH forgot about the eggwhite thing and gave him a whole egg...no reaction so we kept giving them to him

DD1 got the ok from the doc at 9 mths. DD2 is 8 mths and I've been trying to hold off, but i'm sure a tiny bit has slipped in through some things she's had, but I haven't given it to her directly.

Just another thing pediatrician never mentioned to me. We have given eggs in on form or another since 6 months old.

Nope. At about 6 months we started giving her scrambled eggs with no problems.

I started around 6-7 months I think

Our ped told us that we could start with the yolk at 6m and if there was no reaction to move onto the whites. I'm allergic to casein (milk protein) so I moved very slowly w/table foods & got to eggs at about 10m I think. I gave him 2 teeny tiny pieces of my scrambled egg whites & he immediately had a reaction so I haven't given him any since. He's also allergic to dairy like me so I took him to an allergist & we had blood testing done yesterday.

We introduced them at 8 months. We did yolk first and 3 days later we did whites.

No...The gastro Dr. Chloe see's said Whoel egg was fine at like 10 months I think...I always gave them things made with whole egg, just not the whites on their own till he said that.

I started with yolks at 9 months and then whole eggs scrambled around 9.5 months. They had whole eggs in baked goods before that, though. I was told to wait till a year.
