spinoff to egg whites.. How did you get your dc to eat try different breakfast types?
I was told to do yolk first before i can do eggs as a breakfast. I give and spits out.. now at 13months im still giving only baby cereal and fruit for breakfast.
Also.. syrup what age can you start? is it considered like a honey? She wont take waffles and pancakes plain.. just spits out as soon as touch lips.

Good questions. All my son eats for breakfast is yogurt and cherrios.
I think you can give syrup.

I'm pretty sure you can give syrup. You can also try the cinn. toast waffles, they don't need syrup.
ETA: My son is almost 2 and I still give him the same thing for breakfast... yogurt, 1/2 cup dry cereal, and sliced fruit.

My pedi allows all foods at 1 y/o so syrup is a go in our book.
DS eats everything but I usually put butter and sometimes jelly on his pancakes or waffles.
