Did you bring a boppy to the hospital?

If you did, did you find that you used it a lot? Or did it end up being a waste?

If you didn't, did you find yourself wishing you had one?

Re: Did you bring a boppy to the hospital?

I liked having it to rest my arms while holding the baby.

I did not with DS but did with DD. I had a csection with both. I was glad I brought I with DD and wished I did with DS. I made just holding he baby easier as well as nursing.

Re: Did you bring a boppy to the hospital?

Hell yes we used it!

DD wound up in NICU for pretty much her entire stay and they only had regular chairs there. Holding/feeding the baby was very uncomfortable without it.

It is the BEST....especially after a C section I used it constantly while holding/feeding DD.

I even slept with it around my incision area!

I didn't bring it and really could've used it.

It's one of the top items I recommend to bring to the hospital.

Re: Did you bring a boppy to the hospital?

I can't remember whether I brought it, but I never used it. I used a pillow for the first day or two. Then, when DS was in the NICU for a few days, I used one of the Boppy pillows they had down there.

This!

Mine will stay home at first, depending on the type of delivery. I will have DH bring it to me if I need it!

Re: Did you bring a boppy to the hospital?

I brought it and didn't use it, I just used one of the hospitals pillows when BFing DS. and I had a csection. I don't think I was positioning it right at first, and it annoyed me. But once I got home I used it all the time. I think it was using it on the hospital bed vs my couch.
