I got my at 30 weeks both above and below belly button - it's light in color above bellybutton and a bit darker below bellybutton
Does it go away right after birth?

I got the first part - lower abdomen at 21/22 weeks. It has gradually moved its way up to the rest of my stomach.
I think it is more common w/ darker pigmention.

Nope and it actually gets darker right after because the skin isn't being stretched out anymore. I'm 8.5wks pp and still waiting for it to go away.

I am very fair-skinned and i got mine at around 18 weeks.

It disappeared completely about 4-5 months after I gave birth.

I couldn't even notice it when I was pregnant, but afterwards I could totally tell. James is 8 weeks and I'm still waiting for it to go away. Mine is above & below my bellybutton too.
