Did I screw up?! Temp ?
Tues 97.87 CD15
Wed 97.65 CD16
Thurs 97.45 (Took temp an hour early)CD17
Today (Fri) 98.07 CD18
Does it make a huge difference that I tested an hour early? This is my first month temping and I am clueless!!!!

i am no expert on this stuff and i've never temped before...but from what i read as long as it was your WAKING temp...you should be okay.
I could be 100% wrong...just wanted to help!

It does make a difference. Do you use fertility friend? If so then you can log in the temp and it will adjust it for you. If you don't use FF, and want me to adjust if for you, let me know the normal time you wake up and I will do it for you.

I actually do use fertilityfriend. What do I do,lol?!! I usually wake up at 7am but that day I woke up at 6am.

Okay. Go to data, then scroll to temperature corrector and open that. Enter your information and it will correct it for you!
I have had to use this a couple of times, let me know if I was not clear or if you need more help.

yes, it does make a difference
should be waking temp - same time everyday
i agree with PP - check with fertility friend and it will adjust for you, but you didnt "O" yet based on that increase

That is my usual increase when I ovulate, but the shift in temp needs to be for three consecutive days.
Is there a particular reason why you don't think she did ovulate?

I'm so nervous that I don't ovulate. I have no reason to think this but temping makes me nervous. I've been using OPK and I usually get a  on CD14-CD15, but I'm still not sure.

The first month is strange. But do not worry about it. That is why I live FF. It does the work for me and all I have to do is look at the cool graph. 
I like the fact that I KNOW if I ovulate or not. With OPK's you don't.

Will taking your temperature 15 minutes earlier then normal change much?? Since I don't have VIP FF, I can't adjust...
My temp seemed to drop once I started taking it at 5:45!!! This is what it was
The first 3 were taken at 6am
97.7 CD16

The following were 5:45
97.3 CD19
97.4 CD20
97.39 CD21
97.47 CD22

Yes, I'm curious to know why you don't think she ovulated yet? Is it just because FF hasn't confirmed because it needs three temps?

Most of the time 15 minutes probably won't make a difference - that said, your BBT is based on your metabolism and is unique to you, so it is possible that 15 minutes will have an affect your temperature. Just try to be consistent and remember you're looking for an overall biphasic pattern, don't stress about individual temps. Have you ovulated yet? Do you know how long your LP is?

here is the thing, I am not sure if I did O this month or if I would. I saw a RE on the 23rd & I should have O'ed on Monday & he told me that with the size of follicles, I would either O in a week if at all this cycle. My LP is 14 days..

sorry, that was for Kissy! You should be looking for a pattern of two clearly different levels of temps - low before you O and then sustained high temps throughout after you O until you get your period.
Here have a look at some of my charts - Futuremommy's Charts
You'll see that one half of the cycle my temp was low and the other half it was high. It's clearer once you've had three high temps and FF puts in an O date and coverline. This month, I o'd yesterday, but FF won't confirm until I've had two more high temps.
I was pregnant for the 12/22 cycle, that's why it was so long - you can see how the temps remain high throughout the pregnancy.

Your temps do not seem out of wack to me. If is your first month temping so that maybe why they seem strange. I would continue this month just for you to see how much your temps can change.
If you have any more questions feel free to FM me. I think you may have ovulated yesterday, but you will know for sure in the next two days.

i wrote that i didnt think she ovulated yet because there didnt seem to be a significant "jump" in temperatures
i know they were at different times, so it really makes it hard to tell, but the temps would stay up if she did

Thank You for the advice Katie!! I just went and adjusted a few of my temps! I am setting an alarm from now on and just going to roll over and then back from now on! I put a notepad by the nightstand too!
