Did anyone's DC actually use the quilt that came with the bedding set?
I am thinking for this baby I may not buy a whole bedding set. DS never used the quilt that came along with his bedding set. It has been folded on his rocking chairs for the past 2 yrs. He uses another lighter blanket that he got attached too. I was thinking of just buying the bumpers, matching sheets, curtains/shades, pictures, etc. for this baby from Pottery Barn Kids.

He doesn't use a blanket yet - but his quilt has been draped over the glider for 21 months. Total waste!

Just recently I gave it to DD in her crib, and she has been sleeping ON TOP of it for a couple months now! 
(I won't buy one for the next DC!)

I use it now as a blanket for her toddler bed. Before then it was hanging over the glider as well.

my DD still hasnt used it yet. and when she moves to a toddler bed I will probably get her a new "girly" one anyway since I had gender neutral bedding. so I dont think it will ever be used.

DS loves his, and I plan to keep using it when we turn his crib into a toddler bed.

It was sitting in the closet for 17months. we just started using it about a months ago in the crib and will use it in her toddler bed. DD loves it.

DD has slept with the quilt for the last 8 months or so.
we got our baby bedding from babybedding.com and the quilt is very thin - it's a thermal blanket on one side and a cotton quilt on the other - it's more a blanket than a thick quilt, so it gets a lot of use.

Nope. We didn't register for a complete bedding set. I just registered for sheets and some light blankets.
Since they are in our bedroom, we didn't have a theme either!

Never. I now have a cream eyelet set for my DD and use it over the end of her toddler bed as an accent. Strictly for decoration

Us too, when he was small I would lay him on it while I changed his crib sheet, that was its only purpose!

Nope. Troy has 3 bedding sets (yeah I know) and we've never used the quilt.
Whenever we get around to having #2, I don't think I will buy a whole wet. Just sheets and such individually
