shouldnt that read 12/31/07?

why would you question it? HAS lif or liw had a "fake" one in the past?
Let's cut them a little slack in announcing. They are a family and were probably off yesterday and busy today catching up or perhaps even running the contest.
Maybe they haven't been able to physically contact the winner yet and they don't want to post until they do.
To infer that this website maybe not have anything but devine business practices urkes me becaused it is simply untrue.

I can vouch that their contests are real because 2 summers ago I won diamond earings for being like the millionth poster or something like that! Somewhere in the depths of the site there is a post about it including pictures!

I can vouch too b/c DH and I won an amazing trip to Barbados - Ron even threw in airfare - we also won tons of other smaller prizes but that was a big one!

I am unsure where Katie went but I can definitely vouch that she had no malicious intent in her response. I guess the scratching head icon could be questionable but she is WAY too nice of a person to be nasty. I guess she was just thinking that the contest had been posted for a long time. I am sure she would be more then ecstatic to hear who won. Kudos to the winner

Thanks gals! I surely did not mean to be malicious at all (or come off that way).
I wanted to know if I was going to be the winner and I hadn't heard about who it was yet.

I can tell you 100% that Katie didn't mean anything malicous about this post. She was just inqurying. Plus, nobody knows if this was a LIF or a vendor's contest. That could be a big difference. I don't think it was neccessary to blow up like that. I know LIF/LIW has been good to most of us, but she wasn't portraying them to be liars like you responded.

I am out of the office till Friday. We will select a winner then. Sorry we didn't do this earlier but my best friend's father past thus the funeral takes first position in my life right now. I think this is the sixth death in the past month for me. It has gotta stop! Sorry for the vent!
