did anyone else's hips hurt after giving birth?
it's been about 6 weeks and the sides of my hips still hurt...like where the joint area is...it's annoying!
if any of you experieinced this..when does it finally go away? it feels like my hips/joints are not in line (if that makes sense!)

I vaguely recall that feeling....I had a c/s but I think maybe it's from all the weight and then the body going back to it's normal size.....it's like laying bricks on a board more and more each month and then all of a sudden, you take them off....things feel warped for a bit.
Yoga may help!

YES!! I would try to find out any information on joint pain, hip pain after birth and there wasn't much out there. I went to PT and was going for nerve tests, mri's and they found NOTHING! To this day I still have some pain, although not as bad it's there.

Having hip dysplasia (my hip bones arent properly in their sockets) I know what you are talking about.
The hormone relaxin loosens our joints during pregnancy and takes quite a few weeks after giving birth to go back to normal levels.
This is probably what is still causing you the hip issues. Do some hip strengthening exercises...it may help in the meantime.
If it continues, ask go to an orthopedist to make sure everything went back in the right place if you know what i mean....
